Privacy Policy

Last updated October 10, 2026

This policy explains what information NextLevelResume.co (the "Site", "we") collects when you use nextlevelresume.co, how it is used, and who it is shared with. The Site is a free resume builder.

What we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google, Facebook or email, we receive your name, email address and an account ID from that provider. You can also continue as a guest without giving us your name or email.
  • Resume content. Everything you enter into a resume (contact details, work history, education, skills and so on), plus a preview image of each resume.
  • Feedback. Ratings and comments you submit through the Site.
  • Usage information. Pages you visit, buttons you click, the site that referred you, and device and browser details such as IP address. This is collected with cookies, pixels and similar technologies by the services listed below.

How we use it

  • To save your resumes and let you edit, download and share them.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
  • To measure and target advertising for the Site on other websites.
  • To respond when you contact us.

We do not sell your resume content.

Who we share it with

  • Google Firebase hosts the Site and stores your account and resumes.
  • Sign-in providers (Google, Facebook) handle sign-in when you choose them.
  • Analytics and advertising services such as Segment, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag. We may add or remove these services at our discretion. They receive usage information, and for signed-in users your name and email address. Some events can include parts of what you enter, such as your resume or feedback.
  • Legal requests. We may share information when required by law or to protect the Site and its users.

Shared resumes

Each resume has a share link that is hard to guess. Anyone you give the link to can view the resume. Deleting the resume removes access.

Advertising choices

You can limit targeted ads in your ad settings with Facebook, Google and LinkedIn, or through the Digital Advertising Alliance. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies in your browser also stops most tracking. The Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account and resumes until you delete them. You can delete a resume at any time, and you can delete your whole account, including all resumes, preview images and feedback, from the Account page. Copies already sent to analytics and advertising services are kept under their own policies. To ask for a copy of your data or for help deleting it, email us.

Children

The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Where data is stored

Your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
